I
studied at AL Diwan from Level 1 to Level 7 in ten months of studying.
Throughout this period, I progressed with one consistent teacher,
studying with him and other teachers in private lessons anywhere from
2-6 hours a day.
I was able to complete two volumes from Kitab
Al-Assassi and two volumes from the Kitab Al-Assassi/Univ. Umm Al-Qura
after 550 hours of Arabic language at the Markaz. I found the system to
be very flexible which can be very beneficial to one who sincerely
wants to learn. Students studying at the Markaz are from around the
world, and the common language is Classical Arabic. I would strongly
recommend this program for foreigners at the beginner to intermediate
levels as these were the levels at which I used Markaz AL Diwan and
benefited at.
