Setting out to Cairo to study arabic, I felt nervous and anxious. I was unsure of what to expect and doubtful of my decision. I had choosen to study Arabic at Al-Diwan at the high recommendation of friends. I was soon set at ease from my first contact with the staff and teachers at Al-Diwan and the welcoming and familial environment of the center. My studies at Al-Diwan have been extremely beneficial and fruitful. The teachers are highly qualified and trained in modern teaching methodologies. The staff is efficient, culturally adept to deal with western students, and forever ready to assist any student in need. The curriculum and program of study are well planned and followed methodically, creating a productive and advantageous learning experience for all students, regardless of their level or duration of study. At the same time, however, the course of study is flexible enough to allow students to tailor a specific program based on their needs. After having studied at Al-Diwan for 4 months, I can confidently recommend this center to any student of the arabic language.
