My name is Lucy-Zayne Nsour. I came to egypt and enrolled in the Arabic studies program after graduating from university in Northern California. I had taken Arabic classes prior to attending Diwan. However, the progress I made at the Diwan Center far exceeds any of my prior accomplishments in Arabic. I found that the teachers , administration, and over all setting of the center served to create an excellent environment for learning Arabic as a second language. When I came to Diwan I was unable to read or write Arabic, but after just a few weeks of patience and dedication from my teacher I was able to read Arabic.
I recommend that anyone looking to study abroad consider pursuing their Arabic education at the Diwan Center. As it is center that encourages and produces success for students.
