I have found that the faculty and staff at Al- Diwan are both helpful and encouraging. The teachers at Al- Diwan are among the best you will find, and their approach facilities the rapid learning of fundamental concept in Arabic grammar upon which the student is able to build his/her overall knowledge of the Arabic language. Moreover, the focus of the center on conversing in Arabic ensures the student's retention of what he/she has learned. I strongly recommend the Al- Diwan center to anyone interested in learned to speak/ read Arabic, regardless of his/ her level of proficiency.

We came to AlDiwan for the summer programme 2006 after it was recommendeed to us by a freind. We came to Egypt having no prior experience in speaking the Arabic language however after just two months we were able to complete the first stge comprising of four levels alhamdulillah. Due to the high standard of teaching and the excellence of the staff we are now able to have basic conversations. AlDiwan has a set curriculam for non-Arabic speakers which we found to be excellent for us as beginners.
The atmosphere at the centre is very relaxed and freindly alhamdulillah we made lots of freinds and had an excellent relationship with our teacher whom we are still in contact with.

Being a student in Al-Diwan was enlightening, I have found that Al-Diwan center is very experienced in teaching the Arabic language to non –Arab speakers. I benefited immensely and made friends that will Inshallah last a life time.
He instructors were excellent and i consider them friends. I would recommend Al-Diwan center to anyone that sincerely wishes to learn Arabic. it is one of a kind .

Coming from a community college in rural Montana I did not know what to expect from Al-Diwan Center. I was very happy to find it not only an amazing and effective environment in which to learn the arabic language but also a place where open dialogue regarding the current tensions between the Middle East and the West is accepted and encouraged. Egypt as a whole was safe and comfortable. I enjoyed my time there very much and hope to return this spring. Thanks Al-Diwan.

I have found that everything was wonderful. There are many options for studying Arabic in Cairo. After much searching, I decided to try Al-Diwan. I found that the teachers were excellent and the format of two students to one teacher extremely effective for earning.
The teachers and staff work well together and there are no false pretentious. This makes the environment very welcoming and comfortable. I definitely recommend Al-Diwan to any student who wishes to learn Arabic quickly and effectively.

I have been a student in Al-Diwan since June 1st 2006 and until 31 st 2006.
Being a student in Al-Diwan was an unforgettable experience I have found that t my time at Al-Diwan to be very beneficial in three fronts. first, I received important exposure to the Fusha Arabic, grammar, and general Arabic rules that will help me with Qur'an and newspaper recitation, not to mention when watching the news. Secondly, MAJOR improvement in ammeya, which has no doubt, helped me with communicating with my family members and dealings with people in the street (taxi drivers, restaurants, supermarket workers). Finally, the people I've made at Al-Diwan, with both the Egyptian teachers and foreign students will be lifetime INSHA'ALLAH, the people here have definitely helped me with my understanding of Egyptian culture. So, thank you for everything at Al-DIWAN.
